Having witnessed a couple of duo Betula Nebula's jam sessions, A. Brehme decided, in a moment of bewilderment, to invite one half of the duo to build a hybrid Modular-DJ opening set.
Being the founder of the Sonata Forma imprint and as a resident at the thriving Technoon parties in Brussels, A. Brehme symbiotically combines his two long standing passions of producing records and sculpting intense sets, which are grounded from the ambient, psychedelic and minimalist perspective of electronic music.
Combine this with the ambient experiments of Betula Nebula member and Eurorack addict J-Noon, also Brussels-based, and nobody knows where it will end.
In January 2018 techno maestros Peter Van Hoesen and Atom™ played a one-off Hybrid Live show at Unit Tokyo for Mindgames. Performing on stage together for the first time, they jammed for nearly eight hours straight.
Needless to say that the deep connection between both artists became immediately apparent.
The idea was born to further develop this live collaboration with a number of select shows at favorite venues.
