Peter Van Hoesen

Time to express, Berlin

When it comes down to combining the best of many musical worlds, Peter Van Hoesen can say he's been doing it for a while now.

Deeply rooted in the Brussels electronic music scene as DJ and producer since 1993, he's considered by many as a man with multiple musical talents: from straight-up dancefloor jackin' techno to advanced abstract electronica.

His tracks and remixes have been released on his own labels Time To Express and Foton as well as through Meakusma, Ostgut Ton, CLR, Hotflush, Exone, Token, Komisch, Lan Muzic, Curle and many more. He's active as a DJ, producer, sound designer and composer for contemporary dance and theatre. Peter currently lives in Berlin.

Steve Cop

Sonic Solution, Fuse Replay, Belgium

Steve started messing around with records at the age of 16. At that time he got some mixtapes from a DJ called Sven Van Hees (Global Cuts, Gemini) and tried to do the same mixes as he did on the tapes.

As Steve got better some friends gave him a chance to spin at their party's. Some people heard Steve play there and asked him to play in Brussels with Mark Kamins and Poltergeist. That was his first big party.

After that party, Renaat from R&S Records contacted Steve to do some studio work for him together with C.J. Bolland.

Then he started working in La Rocca as Light-Jockey. After a while Steve got the chance to play with the resident DJ Eric Beysens, and he became the second resident together with Eric. They also played together at Bocaccio Life in Gent. At that time he also did a lot of party's across Belgium and Ibiza.

After 2½ years La Rocca Steve moved to Café d'Anvers. There he shared the decks with DJ Koenie. Because Café D'Anvers was also big in the Netherlands, he did a lot of parties there. It was getting hard to combine a residencie and playing in other countries, so Steve left Café D'Anvers at that time. In this period he also played at the Wild & Lethal Trash Party for Walter Van Beirendonck and suplied him with music for one of his fashion shows in Paris.

In Holland a club called Exposure contacted him to do some regular nights there, so he had some kind of homebase again. After 2 years in Holland Steve looked for a new challenge and returned to Belgium. There he started in a new club called FUSE. After that he had another regular club at Waregem called Cirao Dance Hall. In the meantime Steve was also guest DJ in clubs all over the world going from Rex Club in Paris to Chili (South America), Cocorico in Rimini (Italy) and other countries and even a DJ set on the catwalk for Dirk Van Saenen's Transformations fashion show also in Paris. When that was over Steve played together with Zzino at The Scene located in Oudenaerde.

For the moment he enjoys family life and do the occasional retro set solo or with his good friend Tomaz. Recently he started a new concept with Peter Decuypere called, The Hipson Brothers.

A. Brehme

MikroZoo, Brussels

A. Brehme is a DJ and producer who is born and raised in Brussels.

An audiophile with a worrying obsession about music who tries to channel his personal experiences from underground clubs and coverting them to an unconventional and undefined sound on the dancefloor...

Continuously exploring the range of differed electronic music genres, he is playing a leading role at the MikroZoo events as a reside...nt and at the age of twenty he earned a spot on the line-up at one of Europe's most renowned techno-clubs, Fuse.

He creates a unique tension between hypnotically deep atmospheres and capricious grooves leading to psychedelic sets adapted to space and time. With his entry into sound design and day in day out dedication, Brehme won't appear unnoticed in the future.
